Some ambitious projects of Inter-City Industrial Corridors in the world are underway like Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor aimed at developing industrial zones, airports, smart cities, industrial clusters and high speed freight lines between India’s capital (New Delhi) and financial hub city (Mumbai) to boost economic growth.

These mega projects exemplify human innovative & creative capacity to solve problems and adapt to challenges through resourcefulness and invention. The developing Asian countries too have potential to start such corridors, though scales may vary, to open new opportunities for the common good and national growth. However, thorough study, strategic planning and long-term approach need to be focused to yield the desired results.
